Final Animatic

This is the final version of our animatic. We have recently re done all of the storyboards for our trailer so we needed to make another animatic, a task I decided I wanted to do. It is very simply edited with them all following on from one another but this time i have left more time for each picture to be shown so the viewer can absorb more information. I have also added in the "Santa clause is coming to town" song  played slowly on the keyboard without singing. This is because it is a key element of our film.

Though creating the animatic was fairly simple i used software I have not tried out before. I used adobe premier elements 9 which I had bought along with Photoshop. It took some getting used to but it was much more user friendly that final cut pro, the software that we will use for our main production. I felt it was more user friendly as it was made for people with little experience making home movies of your holidays. There were tutorials on how to use each feature and step by step guides to make a simple short film but it lacked the effects available on final cut pro.
